We are so beyond excited about something new Free Spirit Photography is doing: PASS. PASS is the gallery option we have decided to implement into our business, and our clients are going to be reaping all the rewards!! When you book a session with Free Spirit Photography, you will receive a PASS gallery for 1 year. This gallery will allow you to DOWNLOAD all your images from your session for safe-keeping and also for personal printing. It also allows you to SHARE your images with anyone you wish! But the best part? You can now print all your small prints through our professional photo lab with the click of a button(or 2 lol)! And the prices for these prints are amazing, as you can see here: http://freespiritphotostudio.com/pass/ You can check our Jordan's gallery here: http://freespiritphotostudio.pass.us/jordan/ We have designed a short tutorial to walk you through a PASS gallery. It's really pretty simple!:)

We've had a few people ask us if the digital images are included in our session fee. There are many reasons they are not included. First of all, we are NOT shoot and burn photographers. We run a very high-end photography studio and our sessions are all experience-based. We aim to give our clients the very best EXPERIENCE they can hope to get with a photographer! This experience includes professional hair and makeup(up to 3 looks!!), 4-6 outfit changes, 3-4 hours per session, and some special goodies, like us bringing Starbucks for everyone involved in the session! {We have been told by other photographers that we are crazy for offering all that we do, but we ♥ you and WANT you to have an incredible experience with us!!} It's only here, in this digital age, that people have started asking photographers to let loose of the control they have over their photographs
Does anyone else find it incredibly hard to consistently blog?? Blogging is so hard for me, and I don't know why... I mean I LOVE to talk... just ask Stephen!;) But I cannot seem to blog consistently for the life of me... I started that Year of Pinterest thing, but it was really hard work... and then I tried to cut my finger off, and after typing all day at work, I did NOT want to come home and type anymore... So, I am going to try something else... a friend of mine from the Thriving Photographer Facebook group made up a spreadsheet of daily things to post to her Facebook fan page and I asked to borrow this idea. Of course, with our market being mainly high school seniors, I have changed some of the categories, but I am going to try to post something different on our fan
Last night, I decided since Stephen was making his famous cheeseburgers and we had some sweet potatoes to cook up, I would make fried sweet potato fries! I used this recipe that I had pinned on Pinterest: http://www.theartofdoingstuff.com/guaranteed-crispy-sweet-potato-fries-sriracha-mayo-dip/ The corn starch really helped! And the dip is to die for and soooo easy! These were the best sweet potato fries I have ever had... and they better have been, because while cutting up the sweet potatoes I cut my finger and I was sure I had cut the tip clean off! I started crying and I was holding onto my finger and Stephen was like, "let me see it!" and I was like, "um, no..." LOL He looked at it and put it under cold water to wash it off and stop the bleeding... then he said my finger nail saved me from cutting the tip off... he put ointment and a
So, if you are on my Pinterest page at all, you know I am kind of addicted to fonts and hand-lettering. I haven't done much lettering at all... but I am wanting to learn, so this weekend I was in my friend Lana's wedding, and went to her place early to help her get wedding stuff together. She needed signs made pointing to where they were getting married... so I decided to try my hand at it. This is what I ended up with(excuse the Instagram photos, but I didn't take my camera with me!). All I can say is freehand lettering with a giant Sharpie is NOT east and if you make a mistake, you just have to keep making the letter thicker! LOL
